Join the GenEQ committee to celebrate women's achievements and reinforce commitment to women's equality.

What to expect

  • Starting at 8:30 a.m.
    Come grab a bite to eat and a hot drink at the Summerlee Science Complex Atrium, then find your seat for the morning's panel discussion.
     
  • 8:55 a.m.
    President Charlotte Yates will offer words of welcome and remarks for International Women's Day. 
     
  • 9:10 a.m.
    Leanne Son Hing will moderate a panel on Inspiring Inclusion: how to ensure the needs, interests and aspirations of women* are valued and included in academia, our workplaces, and our communities.
