About GenEQ

What is GenEQ?

The Gender Equity Advisory Committee at the Universtiy of Guelph reports to the President and Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for recommending programs, practices, and policy changes at the University of Guelph aimed at promoting, facilitating, and supporting gender equity and inclusivity within the university for women and trans and gender diverse individuals. 

The GenEQ: Advancing the Status of Women at U of G initiative is led by the President & Vice-Chancellor.

The GenEQ committee is chaired by Professor Leanne Son Hing and is comprised of faculty, staff and student representatives
