Exchange Series
Upcoming Event:

Wednesday, December 10
12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
University Centre, 4th Floor, Room 442
Have you been looking for a supportive community to help you navigate challenges at work or balance your work and personal life? Not sure where to turn, or feeling unsure about where to start?
Faculty, staff, and graduate students who identify as women, gender diverse, or as allies are invited to join the GenEQ Exchange Series, part of the University of Guelph’s Gender Equity Initiative.
This event creates space for open, peer-to-peer conversations with others on campus. Participants can share experiences, talk through questions about workplace pressures, career paths, and work–life balance, and learn from one another’s stories and strategies.
You are welcome to drop in at any time and stay as long as you wish. You’ll be encouraged to move between stations, join discussions that feel relevant to you, connect with others, and build a supportive community.
If you have any questions, please contact the GenEQ Advisory Group at gmascia@uoguelph.ca.
The GenEQ Exchange Series is an interactive event designed to build a supportive and inclusive network for women, trans, and gender-diverse people in academia. Through guided conversations at themed stations, participants connect, share insights, and explore career-related challenges and strategies. Centering intersectional experiences, the series fosters community, learning, and collective empowerment.
